Not all God's
men have the courage, persistence
or perseverance to get up & let
a dazed vision guide them, to make
what was once adream, a reality! Except
for those select few, who've had that
'second chance' to live yet to again...after
life gives up hope of walking along.
Sanjay
Abbas Khan, Chairman of the
resplendent "The Golden Palms
Hotel & Spa" has one such
past to share. |

Besides
the big screen, as a charismatic small
screen actor, Sanjay Khan won innumerable
laurels. The television serial “The
Sword of Tipu Sultan” won him
the “The Gem of India
Award for Excellence”
and “The Rajiv Gandhi
Excellence Award” in
the field of Work for Television series.
“The Great Maratha” too
created waves with a magnificent performance
that won him “The Udyog
Ratna Gold Medal Award”,
“The Aashirwad Award”,
“The Arch of Excellence
Award” and the “National
Citizens’ Award”
(1993-94) presented by the Rev. Mother
Theresa. The serial “Jai Hanuman”
was not far behind either as it won
him “The Aashirwad Award”
for Best Mythological Serial (2000),
and the “National Citizen
Award” (2001) again,
this time for being a True Nationalist. |

Government of Maharashtra, for the years
1988 – 1990.
…
DESTINY’S CHILD
“Of all man’s exploration, none
is more fascinating than the gradual discovery
of one’s self”
After having the rare
opportunity of enacting several film scripts
& roles, Khan came across Life’s
own bewildering script that cast him in
a role, almost fatal. |

|
|
The
traumatic fire accident during the
shooting of “The Sword of Tipu
Sultan” (8th February 1988),
which flung him back from the jaws
of death into the living kingdom,
gave Khan a whole new meaning of Life,
enriched with experiences, both horrific,
and rewarding. New findings about
the purpose, meaning and aim of human
existence dawned on him while he marveled
at the wonder and magic of Plastic
and Cosmetic Surgery that transformed
his being, almost like a “Karmic
rebirth”. |
